Valentine's Day Evangelism Ideas

The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask Him to send more workers into his fields. (Matthew 9:37-38)

• Pass out Candy and Valentine Gospel Tracts.

• Give away Bible Verse candy along with an invitation to your church: Valentine "Love Seeds" Candy, Gummy Hearts in a Verse Bag
  

• Kids can make and deliver Tissue Paper Carnations along with candy and an invite to church.

• Get a group together from church to pass out carnations and Hershey kisses to women at their workplace. Let them know what church your group is from or give out church contact cards, too.

• For Valentine's Day evening, offer free childcare or a kid's Valentine's day party, at your church, for neighbors who live near your church.

• Pass out Church Connection Cards, with Valentine's candy attached (with glue dots).
  

Thankful Thursday - Help at the Soup Kitchen

Every Monday, it's my turn to make an 80 serving meal for our local Christian soup kitchen. This Monday, things didn't go too smoothly though. My van broke down, so I didn't have a way to get there. Plus the two ladies that help me both called in sick. But God worked it all out. And that's what I'm thankful for this week. One of the pastors came to my house to give me a ride. My daughter was able to come help with just a 5 minute notice. Plus, she worked so efficiently that she helped me get caught up since the transportation delay put me an hour and a half behind. And, one of the kids from the youth group was able to come help also. God knew that His work had to get done, so He got all the details worked out for us.
